Emily attended college for education, finishing in 2006 with her bachelors degree in fine arts. Her experience in education has allowed her to build a constructive riding curriculum that helps her students to have creative input without sacrificing safety or important basic lessons.

She believes that all horses must have a base in classical dressage in order to establish lightness and efficiency in any discipline. She has trained in dressage with Mike Schaffer, as well as Lauren and Heather Shelley.

In her spare time, she enjoys starting and training her horses to drive in harness and cart. She is currently the proud owner of five beautiful purebred Arabian horses, and two bold and beautiful National Show Horses.
